Thank goodness I finally repurchased this press. I had one years ago but switched to an automatic coffee maker. We recently moved to Italy and have had trouble finding a reasonably priced, working coffee maker. We put away our nice coffee maker because we can't use it due to the voltage issue. After two Severin brand makers broke, we decided to go back to the Bodum large press. We love it. The coffee is delicious, it is quicker than a coffee maker and no electricity needed.
